Monday, Monday, Monday. It's time for the ultimate countdown to the end of the school year because we only have three more half days left. But these may be the hardest days of our young lives. Exams, final essays, and the existential dread of having to sit inside when the sunshine and warm weather are calling. But we will persevere, my friends. We shall not fall to despair.Now let's talk about what's happening this week. Aside from exams, we have the summer bash this Wednesday from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Weather permitting, it will be on the elementary playground, and if it's raining, it will be inside. And right after that, a spectacular summer bash with a promotion ceremony for incredible 8th graders. Stop by the high school gym at 6 p.m. to help usher our 8th graders into high school.Now, what do we have for lunch the next few days? Well, here we go. For breakfast on Tuesday, you can either take a bagel with cream cheese or cereal with fruit. And on Wednesday and Thursday, you can grab a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bar for a quick and easy way to get your brain going for exams. For lunch on Tuesday, we are heading over to Italia for some pasta and meatballs or pizza with a side of broccoli. On Wednesday and Thursday, you have to pre-order a sack lunch. So if you want lunch, make sure to pre-order. Your sack lunch includes a deli sandwich, chips, fruit or vegetable, string cheese, milk, and a cookie.For anybody who is able, will you please rise for the Pledge of Allegiance? I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.These are the last announcements of the year. Eight more school days are all that's left. Well, I guess seven now. Let's get pumped because it'll be a busy two weeks. I have to have that academic comeback soon.High school student athletes, your athletic banquet is right here in the high school gym in Commons tomorrow from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Stop by to celebrate the athletic achievements of all of our incredible athletes.Agricultural Science Club. We're having a lunch party tomorrow during high school lunch in Ms. Anderson's room to celebrate the end of the year and to send off the seniors in style.Are you an 8th through 11th grade girl interested in playing volleyball next year? Stop by S129, Ms. Majora's classroom, for a meeting during homeroom tomorrow.Middle School Art Club. Tomorrow after school is the last meeting of the year, so make sure to stop by, and if you want to participate in the tie-dye event, please bring your white shirts to Mrs. Pellnare's room immediately.Please return all library books to the library as soon as possible. The due day for all return books was May 22nd, and we're way past that. So if you don't, we're sending him in. Thank you for your cooperation.High school graduation is this Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the high school gym. Let's show up to celebrate our incredible seniors who are heading out into this wide world.We have some delicious eats for you, and for tomorrow's breakfast you can either get a mini any strawberry bagel, or your choice of cereal with graham crackers. And for lunch, we're playing off your youthful nostalgia with two classic lunches. Mac and cheese takes on pizza in a dairy showdown of the day. With a side of steamed peas and your choice of milk, who will come out on top? Tune in at lunch to find out. Hello Bulldogs, Greeting from the vibrant duo, Mrs. Quinn, and Mrs. Galger. We are thrilled to bring you today's thrilling episode of the Daily Barker. A woof and hearty welcome to all our wonderful listeners out there!This week, we don't have much to add but we do want to extend our cheers and good wishes to those vibrant band members who will be showcasing their talents in the Memorial Day Parade. If you're not part of the band, don't worry, just pop over and enjoy the atmosphere. It promises to be a memorable event.Next in line is something that isn't solely about graduation. Yes, dear folks, it’s the Athletic Boosters All-Sports Banquet! We invite everyone who participated in sports this year to gather at the high school gym on Wednesday at 6:30 pm for a massive celebration of your contributions to Bulldog sports. What could be better than celebrating an amazing year with your fellow Bulldogs?Speaking of celebrations, we urge you to mark your calenders for the Microwave Mastery at Barrett Library coming up this Saturday at 1 p.m. It’s the perfect place to brush up your culinary skills for dorm cooking or summertime snacking. We eagerly look forward to your participation!Moving on to our beloved food segment - we have our Monday... rather Tuesday's menu for both breakfast and lunch. For starters, we have Pop-Tarts or a cereal of your choice served alongside fruit and milk. For main course, there's cheeseburger in Paradise. On the a la carte menu, there's a face-off between the turkey BLT wrap and the buffalo chicken salad. With choices like these, we guarantee that the real winners will be the taste buds of Bulldogs!Finally, we end this announcement asking those who can, to rise for the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag.
