Daily Barker: June 3rd, 2024

Monday, Monday, Monday. It's time for the ultimate countdown to the end of the school year because we only have three more half days left. But these may be the hardest days of our young lives. Exams, final essays, and the existential dread of having to sit inside when the sunshine and warm weather are calling. But we will persevere, my friends. We shall not fall to despair.

Now let's talk about what's happening this week. Aside from exams, we have the summer bash this Wednesday from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Weather permitting, it will be on the elementary playground, and if it's raining, it will be inside. And right after that, a spectacular summer bash with a promotion ceremony for incredible 8th graders. Stop by the high school gym at 6 p.m. to help usher our 8th graders into high school.

Now, what do we have for lunch the next few days? Well, here we go. For breakfast on Tuesday, you can either take a bagel with cream cheese or cereal with fruit. And on Wednesday and Thursday, you can grab a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bar for a quick and easy way to get your brain going for exams. For lunch on Tuesday, we are heading over to Italia for some pasta and meatballs or pizza with a side of broccoli. On Wednesday and Thursday, you have to pre-order a sack lunch. So if you want lunch, make sure to pre-order. Your sack lunch includes a deli sandwich, chips, fruit or vegetable, string cheese, milk, and a cookie.

For anybody who is able, will you please rise for the Pledge of Allegiance? I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
